Now that the new hunting season has started, it might be useful to recall some tips that can be of help to improve our hunting skills:

Tips for driven hunt

As we said before, driven hunt is one of the most popular red-legged partidge hunting methods in Spain. A key factor for success is knowing when to save our strenght, since many times, after a long journey, the hunter arrives too exhausted to shoot, so they miss the shot.

If the partridge approaches at our same height, we would make a front shot, always keeping in mind that we must aim the shot to the partridge’s legs. Then, we would have to raise the barrel until the crosshairs cover the partridge. That’s the time of firing!
